Dr. Ting is a board-certified dermatologist, a Diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. As the director of the SonixLipoTM Body LipoSculpting Program and Ultherapy (nonsurgical uplifting of face and neck) Center of Excellence at San Ramon CA, he combines the art and science of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine with his UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences training. The procedures are performed by the excellent Nursing Team at California Dermatology Care led by Dr. William Ting and Flora N.P., whose expertise in delivering optimal clinical results with Vaser Shape derived from their externship at the General Project/Med Contour headquarter in Florence, Italy.


Dr. Ting is also a skilled liposuction surgeon, trained by Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the inventor of tumescent liposuction and has been performing tumescent liposuction since 2007.

He is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School as well as Kellogg School of Management where he was endowed combined M.D./M.B.A. degrees in 1999. He completed Dermatology Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2003 with first-ever Resident Research Award.

He has been a prolific contributor to the field of dermatology and aesthetic medicine, particularly in the area of Fractional CO2 Laser resurfacingUlthera Face and Neck Skin Tightening and Uplifting and preventive dermatology. He has won several dermatology research awards and often quoted in media including BusinessWeek, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Contra Costa Times etc. Even in private practice, he has continued to publish in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and speak at numerous academic, local, national and international forums.
